Bubbles and Daisies

Yes, I've updated my blog with a free background from TheCutestBlogontheBlock.com, the idea coming from reading Mary's lovely and hilarious blog.  I admit that cynic though I am, I cannot help but be won over by daisies.  I also love the color blue, particularly this beguiling shade of turquoise/robin's-egg-blue/aquamarine of which my new background is composed.  The bubbles, however, are my concession to reality:  I subscribe to the truth of Mr. Wilde's assertion, "Work is the curse of the drinking classes."  Never in my life have I realized so completely the importance of alcohol in a balanced social life than in the past five weeks of law school.  Contrary to my mother's fears, I am no alcoholic; I usually don't consume more than two drinks on any given night, however horrible my day has been.  But one must allow for idiosyncrasies.

Thanks for checking out my new blog.  I'll try to be your personal Humourmonger, but if nothing else, you'll always get, "The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God."  At least when it comes to my opinions.
